Current foreign investor capital inflows are not aligned with the economic structure of NZ.
Particularly agribusiness — It generates over 70% of all export earnings — yet under current "residency-by-investment" settings, receives no Government supported visibility to foreign investment — a severe policy misalignment.
The pathway through which this capital is introduced plays a defining role in determining where it ultimately lands.
As the images below show, current AIP framework investor visibility is largely mediated through metro based "Managed Funds".
For rural NZ, this results in a visibility gap — not a lack of opportunity.

What investors are shown… determines what gets funded - Agribiz gets less than 10% foreign investor visibility.

Passive billions in capital are entering NZ — but it is not actively flowing to the sector that underpins the export economy.
Increasingly, capital is being directed toward:
• Stable jurisdictions.
• Tangible, land-backed assets.
• Intergenerational legacy investments.
• Lifestyle-aligned “sanctuary” opportunities.
Thus a divergence between:
👉how capital is currently being channelled;
and
👉what a significant cohort of US investors are seeking.

Private, early-stage engagement offering an alternative to Government mandated gatekeeper "fund" structures.
Direct visibility of agribusiness opportunities with an active sanctuary lifestyle.
Aligning HNWI's intergenerational investment objectives through a NZ agribiz "Showcase, Direct Listings Board" in SoCal.
A pilot agribusiness initiative is now in place and operating within a US-based capital formation pathway, supported by an SEC-registered, FINRA-regulated crowdfunding intermediary.
Building on this foundation, the proposed AgrivestNZ Direct Listings Board is being developed to provide a structured platform through which New Zealand agribusiness opportunities can be presented to US investors. Subject to standard onboarding, verification, and professional sponsorship requirements, qualifying ventures will be able to achieve:
• Direct visibility to a US investor audience.
• Engagement through a structured, compliant capital pathway.
• Alignment with long-term, intergenerational investment objectives.

My name is Linda Brink, US citizen, director of NZ Showcase USA Inc, and a founder-shareholder of Tribal Therapeutical Corp.
Soon to return to the US, I will be leading the US-based development pathway for Tribal Therapeuticals Ltd, our NZ pilot “showcase” company and interalia will also:
• Launch the "Tribal" range of New Zealand tea tree–based infection control products into California / USA.
• Establish direct capital access through US investor networks.
• Support nationwide distribution for New Zealand natural health products through our California-based partners.
Having navigated early-stage capital raising within New Zealand, I understand the challenges faced by regionally based ventures.
Following several years living and working in Silicon Valley prior to relocating to New Zealand, I am now reconnecting with (a) US investor networks (b) nationwide natural health product distributors to support a new pathway:
👉 connecting US capital with New Zealand agribusiness opportunity.
👉 supporting NZ rongoa rakau (native medicinal plant) manufacturers to access US distribution.
